Creative Direction + Motion Design
We partnered with the Detroit Pistons to ideate and develop a wide range of motion graphics concepts for in-arena moments at Little Caesars Arena. Working closely with their team, we explored multiple creative directions to align with the vision for the season and pressure-tested ideas early to see what resonated best.
Our concepts spanned key game moments including Game Time, Second Half Starts Now, and Overtime, across three visual systems: Core, Statement, and City themes.
Our real-time workflow allowed us to explore a broad range of polished creative ideas in a short timeframe, giving the Pistons team tangible options to react to rather than abstract directions. By rapidly producing high-fidelity concepts, we were able to test multiple visual approaches, gather clear client feedback early, and refine what worked most effectively, all while keeping the process collaborative and efficient.
Using a real-time workflow, we were able to iterate rapidly and render large volumes of concepts with speed and flexibility. As the Pistons upgraded their in-arena pipeline from HD to UHD and from 24fps to 60fps, our approach allowed us to move quickly, adapt to feedback in real time, and keep pace with the increased technical demands without slowing the creative process.
